Blah

This week has gone fast, but I feel like everything around me is going faster than I can go. I can barely keep up with the paper work and appointments at work(though I am somehow!). And I had a test this week and I though it was next week. I just feel so bad for being behind like that. I just want things to slow down but I'm not sure when they will.

Needless to say all of this is leaving me no time where I feel like sitting down and writing. When I write, I need a few hours blocked out with no distractions to really get some work done. I can't stay up late anymore because I have to wake up early for my job.

Sorry this post is negative. Maybe it has something to do with the constant rain these past few days.

Speeding

I got caught speeding on Aug. 31 and just now found out how much my ticket was for today. It is to scary to mention here. Needless to say it was a few hundred dollars. I was going 60 in a 45. I have been on my best speeding behavior since then. I just don't know why it took so long for them to tell me how much my ticket was for! Is this just an Indiana problem?

Third Year Anniversary!

September 16th is our 3ed wedding anniversary! We are still going strong and I thank God every day for giving me a man like my husband. He has been such a blessing to my life!

We don't have any big plans due to Matt being laid off, and we have the Bible study we host for the youth group kids tomorrow as well. That's alright with me though because I don't really need a fancy date (although they are nice every now and then) to know my husband cares for me.

Here's to many more anniversaries! Love you honey!

Double the pain

Today when I went to the mail I saw both of my SASEs there. I had two partial requests sent out and was surprised at the responses coming back so soon. It had been less then a month! Both were rejections, both form letters. I hate this feeling of having to start all over, or if I even should. But I think I will. I will probably keep on going till I run out of agents to query. So, all in all I'm a little sad today but I'm determined to not give up-yet anyway. I at least want to finish the sequel to the book I'm out there querying for and than maybe start on a new one all together.

As you know my husband was laid off. We are still trying to figure everything out that we need to do to stay afloat (some things didn't pan out the way we thought) but we are keeping our eyes on God and He will see us through.

Before my husband lost his job, I was working on a project to redecorate some of the rooms in our house. Now, we don't have extra money for those things but I found a website that might still let me do those things!

www.freecycle.org is a place for you to give away (everything is free) things you don't use or need for free, and to receive things for free as well! Currently I am trying to find some new curtains for our windows.

Just thought I'd share this wonderful site with everyone!
